This edition of GERMAN CHRISTMAS CAROLS, including 38 individual books of sheet music, is a unique collection of 36 of the finest traditional German Christmas carols, completely rendered into English - including the German lyrics as well.
The carols can be easily sung by different voices and be played by a huge number of instruments. And what´s best: all voices and Instruments can be joined together in every combination:

Each player with a "German Christmas Carols" book for his instrument can play together with any other instrumentalist or vocalist. All the scores are compatible.
The scores in the "German Christmas Carols" books are as easy as possible for all the instruments. For some instruments we have even provided an alternative book with an easier, lower version of the melody, so that beginners can quickly master the carols. Additional books for piano beginners are being prepared.
To make JOIN IN-MUSIC feasable there are sharp signs for Bb and Eb instruments and flat signs for the string instruments.

graduate in British and American Language and Literature at Mainz University and teacher of English in Germany, has taken care of the English versions of the German carols. While there were 11 carols with traditional English translations that he could use without any further change, some others he had to revise and adapt for one or the other musical or linguistic reason. Finally he translated 20 of the carols for the first time, solving the intricacies of the interplay of bar, metre and rhyme to achieve a result that can be easily sung and understood by the English singer and fits precisely the musical score.
has successfully been publishing sheet music for wind and string instruments for many years in Germany. As a teacher of music in wind and string classes he has not only written a book on methods for classes of wind players, but has also produced collections of Christmas carols, of national anthems and of easy pieces of music for young players with several publishers.
